[ THE ESTATE ]
AN EXCLUSIVE Tenure
Hopewood House is a privately owned historic estate in the NSW Southern Highlands, set on eleven acres of established gardens and ninety minutes from Sydney. The 1884 residence has been home to the Storrier family for decades, shaped quietly and deliberately by the artist and his wife, Janet.
Throughout the estate, the Storriers' private sculpture collection forms part of the landscape — works appear at the turn of a path, beside a pond, at the edge of a lawn. The gardens follow a single guiding principle: that nothing should stand out because everything belongs.
A wedding at Hopewood is a private engagement. You and your guests have sole access to the grounds, the ceremony spaces, the Pavilion and the estate cottages for the full duration of your celebration. There is no adjacent event, no shared space, no compromise.
