[The estate]

The estate's three cottages sit within the grounds, each privately accessed from the garden. Named after works from Tim Storrier's collection, they were renovated in 2019 and reflect the same considered attention that shapes the broader property. Each cottage is self-contained with a private garden entrance. Linen, provisions and the detail of each stay are attended to by the estate team.

Two night's accommodation for up to 14 guests is included in the Hopewood wedding hire, with the option to extend your stay before or after the celebration

Hopewood House is surrounded by gardens that were laid out in a classic Victorian style and are an extensive mix of exotic and natural species. Many of the trees are very old and home to the beautiful bird life that we support and encourage.

The gardens sprawl over 11 acres with a walking track taking you from the end of the garden to the front gate. You can join the track easily beyond the tennis court or through the arbour on the swimming pool terrace. Please make yourself at home. Perhaps read a book under a shady tree, set up a little picnic or do some yoga in your favourite spot.

The three cottages — Serendipity, Arcadia and Mandalay — are each named after works from Tim Storrier's collection.
